Welcome to Monapilla Escape. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website (monapillaescape.holidayfuture.com) and the terms on which we accept bookings for our accommodation. By accessing this website and/or making a booking, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use this website or make a booking if you do not agree to all of the terms stated here.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Monapilla Escape; "you", "your" and "guest" refer to the person using our website or making a booking.

1. Cookies

We use cookies. By accessing this website, you agreed to the use of cookies in agreement with our Privacy Policy. Most interactive websites use cookies to let us retrieve the user's details for each visit. Cookies are used to enable the functionality of certain areas and to make it easier for people visiting our website.

2. Licence & intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, we and/or our licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on this website, including all photography, text and branding. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Republish material from this website
  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from this website
  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from this website
  • Redistribute content from this website

3. Hyperlinking to our content

Organisations may link to our website provided the link is not in any way deceptive, does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement or approval, and fits within the context of the linking party's site. We reserve the right to request the removal of any link to our website at any time.

6. Reservation of rights

We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our website, and to amend these terms and conditions and the linking policy at any time. By continuing to link to or use our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

7. Bookings & payment

Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received and you receive a booking confirmation. Rates are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all guests in the party.

8. Cancellations & refunds

We aim to keep cancellations fair and clear. For direct bookings:

  • 14 or more days before check-in: full refund, less a $100 administration fee.
  • Between 7 and 14 days before check-in: 50% refund.
  • Within 7 days of check-in: no refund.

These terms are confirmed in your booking confirmation. If you need to change your dates, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

9. Check-in & check-out

Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. Access details are sent a few days before arrival. If you'd like a little flexibility, let us know at booking and we'll accommodate where we can.

10. Guests & occupancy

Maximum occupancy is strictly 4 people per villa, including infants. Only registered guests are permitted on the property; please seek our permission beforehand if anyone else needs access.

11. House rules

  • Strictly no parties or events. Weddings and special occasions are welcome by prior arrangement — please contact us before booking, as maximum guest numbers still apply.
  • Please keep noise to a minimum after dark and be considerate of others at all times.
  • No pets — we are a working farm with livestock and wildlife nearby.
  • No smoking anywhere on the property.
  • Complimentary e-bikes are for adult use only; children may not use the e-bikes or ride bikes/scooters on the property.
  • Fires are only permitted outside the CFS fire-ban season and only in the designated areas, and must be attended by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

12. Care of the property

Please treat the property, its contents, the animals and the surrounds with respect, and leave your accommodation clean and tidy on departure. We don't charge a standard cleaning fee, so we appreciate it — however, a cleaning or repair fee may be charged where the property is left excessively dirty or where damage occurs.

13. Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this website and the use of this website. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness suffered on the property, except to the extent caused by our negligence. Guests use the facilities — including the fire-tub, fires, e-bikes, gardens and farm surrounds — at their own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia, Australia.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your stay are those confirmed at the time of your booking.
